Poll: This Weekend's Flicks

EDIT: Haven't heard of Bourne Identity, but Windtalkers doesnt look that good.
I say go with Undercover Brother🙂

None of the above.

Next weekend is a holiday long weekend for me, so i'll be catching some rays up at the cottage! w00t!

(it better be nice weather, victoria day was crap :|)

Hopefully the Bourne Identity will be half as good as the books which would make it a great movie. Anyone who likes spy novels and hasn't read those books I think you are really missing out on a great read.

Dave

Windtalkers... BTW, whats up with the poll when ya first vote? 😀

I dont know what either of those are.. I'm assuming movies. Anyways, my plans for next weekend include: visit girlfriend, hang with girlfriend, watch sappy romantic chick-flicks with girlfriend, and maybe 4 wheel with girlfriend. I suppose if I remember, I may even turn on my computer.

I thought you lived in S Ontario
What kind of vacation holiday have you got?

I do live in Southern Ontario.

The company I work for is in Ontario and Quebec, so we get this weekend in June to offset the weekend the Quebecers get for Fete Nationale at the end of June.

I talked with my g/f this past weekend about going to the movies, and the first ones that came to her mind were "Enough" and "Unfaithful". She mentioned those, and my heart sank; all I could think was "chick flick"... Nothing like adding a little despair to your movie-going experience.

I'd like to see Bourne Identity (previews look good, and I like Matt Damon).

<---- still hasn't seen Ep 2 or Spiderman

saw windtalkers about a month ago during a sneak preview on our campus. i didn't think it was really that great a movie, a bit boring and cliched, and very 'john wooish' if you know what i mean. without giving too much away, it seemed more like an action film (ala MI:2) than a war movie. perhaps they've edited some things in and out of the movie since the sneak preview...

anyone watch the original tv movie adaptation of the bourne identity? i know i saw it, but i honestly can't recall anything about it. here's hoping this version's better...

I remember that one. Richard Chamberlain & Jaclyn Smith. Eccch.

This one has got to be better. The old one was a drag (and I don't mean because Chamberlain is a gayboy.)
