That's what I thought too. I rented them for the first time a few months back and couldn't get more than about half way through the second before falling asleep!

 
maybe cos'I had readthe book first ... about 3 times ... that I could enjoy the movie ..... the 3rd part sucks though
 
I used to love them. That's why I bought my mom the boxed collecter's set. But she loved them so much that she watched them two weekends in a row and I got really sick of them really fast. :frown:

I'm a goob and haven't seen any of them. I don't know why not, either. I know they're excellent films. I should try to convince someone to buy the DVD boxed set for me 🙂

anyone who doesn't like part 1 or 2 has been ruined by the MTV, these movies demand some patience and intelligence to appreciate.

I own it on DVD, only problem is it's still shrink wrapped.

So suffice to say I'm the last American who hasn't seen it.
