Bump... I need a few more opinions, I could host not only UT2K4 but other games, its just depends on if you guys will pay a bit to support the server. Like 40 people a month on a $1 paypal subscription.

I'd definately pay, depending on how many people can play at a time. I wouldn't want to pay and it be a small server on which I can never get on.

How about $1.50 a month, payed though a paypal subscription. For tonight and tommorow it will be free to people can test the speed (the ones that don't believe me when I say that it will be fast )

Once the full game comes out the server will be upgraded.

GameDaemons....my friend owns/owned that company. It got bought out by another company but he's still in charge of all the game servers and stuff.

It is a bit expensive but definately worth it for what they offer in terms of server specs + network specs. How do I know? He hosts a server for me on their network...yummy

X Gaming Servers these guys were a close runner up
Gamedaemons This is who we went with, def a lil pricey.
Art Of War Central these guys were never up to snuff performance wise IMO.

Griffin Run is overpriced and they suck.


btw the price of UT2k4 demo servers is upwards of 100 a month from a reputable company with a decent amount of player slots (16+) assuming its public.
