Reluctantly, walmart. They're physically closer to me, and I feel like they carry more things relevant to my needs for a bigbox store. I also have less familiarity with target, but I avoid bigbox stores in general.
 
Walmart. Target failed in Canada, so if I want to actually go to one I would have to go pretty far. 😛 Never actually been in one, I assume it's basically like Walmart, but higher end? It was kind of too bad it didn't work out here as variety and competition is always a good thing. I doubt we would have gotten one here either way though, I think they tend to be in bigger cities more.

Walmart and its clientele know what they are. Target and its clientele pretend to be too good for Walmart, but secretly, deep down where no one can see, they know they aren't.

I dislike Target, but it's convenient. It feels more disjointed than Walmart, has way fewer self checkouts, and most of the people are in giant SUVs and on their phones for the entire trip.

I love self checkout because we usually only have 3-10 items and find it more efficient. Unfortunately our local Target stores are phasing out self checkouts, hopefully they might return one day.

It's been... 5 years since I've been in a target? I feel like their food items are better than walmart, especially own label products, but there's better places for food than either of them.
 
I remember Walmart closed a store down because the employees voted to unionize.

However a new Target is under construction 1 mile closer to me.
Target does have the reputation of attracting higher class of babes so I might have to start going there.
 
Target used to carry slightly better stuff but no more, just higher prices. I worry about the turnover of food items at Target whereas I know Walmart moves stuff so not as much a concern with getting out of date foods.
 
Walmart B&M's for several vehicle batteries, and a few tires. I don't shop WM otherwise unless I just needed some oil/etc automotive fluid by coincidence while I was there in the automotive dept. already getting a battery, though occasionally I'd made some other purchases for delivery off their website.

Walmart and so many other stores are closer so I don't shop at Target B&M's at all, nor can I remember any Target online purchases unless you count their gray market outlet for depreciated goods with *issues*, that are sold on Bullseye Deals' ebay storefront.
