Poll: Superman VS Batman

Dude, superman can beat the crap out of batman anytime he wanted to. Batman is just some rich guy dressed up in a bat costume. He has no special powers or anything. Superman has superhuman strength, can fly, shoot lasers from his eyes.

i guess it's pretty obvious that we're assuming you mean, by "versus", a fight between them? Duh! Supa-man would win that, of course.

however, if you're asking who's my personal preference: batman is a way cooler and more developed character, IMO. he has a dark side, and is a vigilante. superboyscout is holier-than-thou stuff from "the golden age" of .. I dunno, the 50's?

besides, the first batman movie (don't even SPEAK of the others) was better than all the superman flicks combined. and the TV show with Adam West was hysterical -- BIFF!!! POW!!! KAZAAM!!!

batman, cuz he doesn't have any superpowers. unlike superman, who was very boring and the comic almost was cancelled before kryptonite was invented.

i still have the return of superman in the original white plastic bag.

I always thought batman was kinda gay. he dressed up in tights. wasn't married. had a "boy wonder" who was dressed in an even frutier costume follow him around. his arch enemy was Bane who was a coked up S&M freak. just appears kinda "odd".
 
Superman would win a fight, but Batman kicks Superman's ass anyday when it comes to storyboard / storyline, character history, realism, possibility, social acceptance, mystery, etc.
 
assuming batman doesn't have any kryptonite, and they're just using thier natrual abilities.. ie, superman and his superness, and batman and his gadgets, superman by far
