Just a thought I came up with...

Shouldn't having 2 poll options be required or else a post with a poll can't be created...

For instance, a lot of neffing goes on where people put one poll option and it's really stupid...

How about make it so that you have to have 2 options or else no poll can be created?
 
If the polls had any relevance or meaning, I'd agree. I say just take them for face value.
