They don't use that crappy shredded lettuce they use for subs do they?

j00 are correcto!

Here are a few of my experiences:

1. Ordering "Veggie" salad...Well all they do is make 1 layer of shredded iceberg lettuce, then strategically place peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms etc...

2. Ordering "Italian" salald...Same as above except with salami

In short, subways salads are weak..

get an italian bmt instead =D

It's pretty good. I tried their chicken and seafood salad a couple of times.

A Subway salad is basically a sandwich without the bread, replace it with a plastic container and some crutons.

So make sure you get a salad that you enjoy in sandwich form.

They have a new sub out, I forgot the name but it sounds good. I might give it a try.

I had hoped you'd be a little more respectful of wendys in this matter. Other than tellinis - and I don't think that exists in canada - wendys is the king and you should know it! Their salads are fresh, fast, and beautiful.

Wendy's salads look good. The Quizno's near me is new and sucks. I hope that they will get better with time. Jersey Mike's has great cold subs. There is a chain called Bellecino's that has great oven baked subs, beats Quiznos hands down.
