Been listening for years. Fewer produced bits now, but still awfully funny -- at times. Sometimes not. But I still listen.

Does anyone know why Jackie the Jokeman left the show? I stopped listening for a while and I never found out why.

When the gang recently resigned their contracts (the rumor is that Howard is getting $20M a year now!), Jackie insisted on negotiating separately, and one day he just stopped coming to work. This was the second time he had done this, and so Howard refused to get involved. He announced that day that WXRK would start rotating various comedians, writers, etc. through the Jackie seat to look for a replacement. They had various people, including Adam Corolla and Jimmy Kimmel of "The Man Show," and Craig Gass, a comic who does a great imprersonation of Gene Simmons and is the voice of Al Pacino's Baby. They finally settled on Artie Lang, an actor and comic who used to be on the "Norm" show.

As always, F Jackie!

I really like Howard.. I listen to it while at work.. I wear headphones.. and I am a programmer.. so I can just sit here, listen, and code. The show might not appeal to everyone, but while it's on, I will be a listener. for someone, or a group of people, to do that show 5hours a day, 5 days a week.. well, its incredible that they make me laugh so much.. but they do.. and his ratings bear out that people listen to him, if you don't like, tune somewhere else.
