Mmmmmm, yet more fodder to correctly educate the son on science fiction.....now just have to wait until B-5 is out on DVD. Son's reaction on seeing Apollo 13 was priceless. Now just have to drag his 5 year old behind down to KSC to see the real thing.....
Yes I remember 1999. In fact as a Christmas gift I received that long, white spacecraft complete with orange crewmembers! Like Isla, I was quite young.

<< and Buck Rogers were some of my fav's growing up >>
I must also admit to having a crush on Erin Gray! 🙂
Yea, I watched it. 10 years after it was cancelled I saw a re-run and man it reeks of the 70's. I'd rather get Battlestar Galactica on DVD, but to each his/her own.
Space 1999, and UFO were terrific shows. Remember the odd looking cars they used in UFO, and those open knit shirts on the sub crews. Raise your hand if you were trying to get a peek at the ladies.
That lone big missile on the UFO space fighters was one hell of a phallic symbol. 🙂
I just used to drool over the lunar base ladies. However, nothing beats Diana Rigg in black vinyl. She could put my head in a leg lock anytime. 😛
The one 1999 episode that gave me nightmares was "St. George and the dragon". When that energy monster on the derelict station ate the very beautiful ladies and spat calcinated corpses at the beginning of the episode... That image still haunts me. Such beauty wasted... 🙁
