Yes.

And whoever said Alice In Chains & Soundgarden > Pearl Jam is someone that I disagree with. I like Pearl Jam a lot more, but that's just me. Don't bring up the cover of Last Kiss either.

That would be me. I loved ten but I kind of got tired of them when Vitalogy came out. I got back to my dorm from morning classes the day it came out and every f'in idiot in the dorm had their window open cranking out Last Exit and Better Man. That went on for over a week straight.

Haha, I bet that got a bit annoying.

Soundgarden was definitely the most talented band to come out of Seattle. Alice in Chains comes in a close second. Personally, I feel that Matt Cameron is way to good for Pearl Jam! His drum licks are no where close to being as good as the stuff he did with Soundgarden. Their music seems to restrain him.

Another highly recomended Seattle band is Mad Season (Album name: Above)
Great album. Band has Layne Staley, Mike McCready, and some folks from the Sceaming Trees. Album seriously rocks!

I've been a big fan of Jerry Cantrell's solo stuff.

Did they ever have any popular songs other than Black Hole Sun?
😕

Yes. Rusty Cage, Outshined, Spoonman, Fell on Black Days, The Day I Tried to Live, Pretty Noose, Blow Up the Outside World, and Burden in My Hand. Some others too that I might have missed.

Yeah..Black Hole Sun is far from my favorite on Superunknown. I think I prefer Superunknown, Fell on Black Days, The Day I Tried to Live, and Fresh Tendrils more.

Oh yeah. Superunkown is an awesome song. I love the guitar work in the beginning of it.

Whose voice do you like? Just curious.

Soundgarden kicks ass without a doubt. You guys should check out Chris Cornells solo cd, Euphoria Morning. Nothing like Soundgarden at all but still great.

Strange, I bought one of their albums back in the day but the only songs I know are Spoonman and Black Hole Sun.

Well then perhaps you should listen to it?

Now I know why I don't buy CDs.
