i cant name voices that i "like" because i dont think of it that way, the only ones i recognize are the ones that i cant stand

Cornell's voice is just fine. Veddar's voice sometimes is irritating...but Dave Matthews takes the cake on this one. His voice is annoying as hell.

I never got into Soundgarden, but Chris Cornell has the best range and vocal control for a male vocalist I have ever heard.

I'm with you on that, his voice can be a bit grating. Can't quite put my finger on why.

That said, Soundgarden's tunes were much better than Audioslave (although I have only heard Audioslave's radio hits, so maybe their album's better).

I guess it just boils down to personal preference. I feel the same about some of the music in Anubis' folder.
