wasnt touting him as a #1 but others were ranking the top guys. He is a major first round pick. erickson is about airing it out and he ran for a few td's last year.

Portis will rip it up this year. As far as WR's go, Harrison is a better pick than Owens. My first 2 picks in my last league were 1-shaun alexander, and 2-marvin harrison. i sould mention that i was #10. alexander for a #10 pick = me likes.

faulk looks healthy (rushing yards and td's)... and since warner looks healthy (recieving yards and td's)... and since the rams D looks pretty good (conservative chew up the clock ground game)... i would pick faulk. and oh yeah, they have a great o-line too.

i'd shy away from williams becuz of the QB situation. if they can't solve that problem, the miami attack will be too predictable. holmes is an iffy pick becuz of his hip surgery. portis... i'm not sold on him yet (or jake the snake). i guess my opinion is a little biased becuz i already drafted faulk on my team.

😛

I agree with Alexander being great at #10, I have him in my top 8. I also think Harrison is a better pick than Owens. I would have to say that shenaniganz is very smart.

i wouldn't take a wr at #1 overall becuz rb's scoring potential is much greater (rushing & recieving).

this year there really isn't a clear #1. not sure if that means there are a LOT of good good players or that there just isn't a dominant player.

i wish alexander were there @ 9 for me in my draft.
by the time my pick came around
the only decent HB left was either travis henry or ahman green.
went holmes, tomlinson, portis, RW, faulk, alexander, mc alister and one more.... HB. i cant remember who right now.
so i used mcnabb as my first pick. then on the way back picked up green
but i ended up trading him for derrick mason and corey dillon, i think that is a good trade, i cant trust ahman green to stay healthy all year.
i had henry last year, he fumbled alot but was a nice waiver wire pickup to say the least.

It helped that the guy 2 picks before me picked tampa bay's D. Yes some idiot picked a D in the first round. i was like, "thanks buddy"

I would have kept McNabb and Green, but McNabb and Dillon is good too, esp if the Bungals offense can get it going in the air with Kitna.....by the way, was Edge taken at #8?

LOL!
wow.
it helps to have ppl that are idiots, im in a private league with 10 friends and we are all super competitive and know our football.
doh! it does make it more fun though.
weve moved away from team D and have started doing a 3 player defense, like a D spot (any pos) a DL spot (LB or DT, DE) and a DB spot.
so i have brooking, urlacher and mike williams.
you get points for tackles and the other defensive stats.
its sort of a new wrinkle, i dont liek team D cuz what if the special teams gives up 14 points in KO or punt returns, doesnt that count against your team D?
thats not fair.

JAMES, that was the other RB picked, the top 8 picks were RB.

you misunderstood or i didnt make it clear, the trade was green for dillon and mason.
i still have mcnabb

This year is a little different, usually there are 2 choices for #1 (everyone remember the Sanders vs. Davis, Faulk vs. James debates?), but agreeing with everyone else here, there are 3 legitament, although all three top guys only have one excellent season apeice. I have more thoughts, but not until after my ATOT draft next Wednesday.

I have a feeling Faulk is going to bust out this year. He has the potential to be a double 1,000 yard guy in rushing in receiving with tons of TD's

I was fourth and I got Tomlinson. I jokingly asked the rest of the draft bunch whether I should take Owens in the first round. Of course, the rest of people drafting thought it was a good idea.

It was a tough choice this year. Williams / Holmes is what I originally thought. Given that Williams isn't coming off of an injury, he gets the sure pick. Holmes does look like he will be playing at or near his old level, though.

Heh, I got both in my friends league...of course there's only 6 teams total...

No kidding. I picked my defense 9th round after I picked a Kicker and I still got Carolina. Miami went the pick before me. 🙁
