It would have to be a hardcore crackhead as December 8th, 1992 is pretty extreme even for the regular ones ;)

I'm curious, if you have to write just the date on a paper or something do you still write" December 8th, XXXX" or would you just use that if the date was in a sentence?

actually, it's 8th if you put it into that form. it's 8 if you use it as a citation. but you in-lined the date.
