done it before, usually occurred when everybody's drunk and passing out. i have the largest bed in the apartment, so it looks a lot more appealing than the carpet (which is covered in beer stains from past parties) and the couch, which is usually taken

Other than that, no.

yup. same here. same situations. i don't see a problem with it.

What? No threesome?

I have slept in the same bed with a member of the opposite sex, where the girl was
a friend, more than a friend, and where the person was someone I had just met that
night.

When there is one bed, two tired people, and neither minds, where the hell else are you
going to sleep. The floor? I don't think so.

Its pretty immature to think just because your sleeping in the same bed with someone, you
need to be getting it on.

I've also slept in the same bed with a female friend and made no contact and we are only friends. I wouldn't say it is done on a regular basis though.

Same here. Depends on how things go down, not like everything you do in life can be predetermined.

Your question doesn't make any sense. Personally, I've slept in the same bed with a female friend as well as the same bed as a S/O, so I don't know how to answer you.

Why would you sleep in bed with a girl, have no contact, and be anything more than friends? Unless she was your mother or your sister (those from Arkansas are not included in this example).

I've slept in the same bed with another girl in college a few times. One of them turned into my SO, the others were just good platonic friends, and nothing happened. Since moving out of the dorms this hasn't happened. I rarely need to pass out at someone else's house, and my apartment is rarely the location for a drunk night.

If I'm drunk enough, and tired enough, I'll sleep just about anywhere... with any ol girl in a bed, on a couch, any ol chair, the floor, on top of countertops... wherever. There are ATOT members who can attest to this too. So I guess the answer is, chick could be anything and if I drink enough than I will possibly sleep in the same bed as them without anything going on.

I've shared a bed with a girl several times with no sexual contact implied or expected. I don't see what the big deal is. Some of you are making waaaaaaaay too big a deal about the whole thing. The fact that a girl is letting you stay within 5 feet of her without running away must be too much for your fragile brains.

I've done it before, a few times and I wasn't drunk, nor were they. No contact was made but admittedly looking back I wish there was some with the first one because she was damn attractive but we had our "situations" at the time.

So, follow this entirely hypothetical, non-reality based situation; you, a young college guy, sleep in the same bed with a college-age girl, yet, no "physical contact" was made - is this something just "friends" do, or is there something more?

Like I said, this is completely hypothetical, so don't even think about saying crap like "it depends - gimmie some more info" - just make up the rest of the crap in your head if you need to.

Personally, I'm leaning "no". :music:

no physical contact = using rubbers, right?

Shared a bed with a friend this weekend on a ski trip. Pull out couch bed. Nothing special about it, it was just a place to sleep.

I do it all the time... my best friend is a girl and we ALWAYS get drunk and pass out. My beds only a twin so physical contact is unavoidable but its no big deal, my girlfriend knows and she doesnt care.

but "Hypothetically", lets say, if my girlfriend won't sleep with me, is it cheating if I sleep with my ex? :p
