Poll: Shrimp or Scallops?

Either is great when they're in season but, December in the U.S. isn't one of them.

Both, broiled. Scallops kind of reach a maximum size. Humongous prawn sized shrimp are where it's at, so if I had to choose between the two, I'd take prawns stuffed with crab meat.

Too bad you can't buy frozen from when they were in season. Of course if either option were possible, they still wouldn't be very good.

a perfectly seasoned sauteed scallop is about as perfect a seafood as there can possibly be. wrapped in bacon? words cannot express the amount of heavenly goodness that is.

You can do more with shrimp but I vote scallops because they are so damned tasty!

Of the two, I like shrimp better. The texture of scallops is literally among the worst of any food I've eaten. Could be at the top. I've had them once and I could barely finish my plate.

i love cold shrimp & cocktail sauce.

one of the restaurants around here (Broker) gives an unlimited shrimp bowl with all entrees. I love going to that place!
