Gasp!

The only failure here in reality is the notion that your pro-war view is shared by thinking americans.
You ARE a basement dweller out of touch if you think the youth and average working person is pro-iraqi war.

But then you obviously lack the people skills to get out and meet real people. It shows from how you interact here on the forums and who you "hang out" with.

Fellow outcasts holding on to their ignorance till the end

Talk all you want but I am quite sure I run across literally hundereds of people a day talking sh1t about bush...

Who do you speak to? I mean besides NUTZ and TLC?

(and I think NTDZ is waking up slowly) *gasp*

This is just my experience but you hard-liners in here are running out of time...

the winds of change have been blowing for a year or so now strongly.

Get a grip or get left behind to be a angry old lonley man looking out for commies and subversionists under your bed.

As a intellegent american there is no excuse to be complacent, I mean what do a bunch of rich buisnessmen do for you? It sure doesent make you look good.

Makes you look like a piss poor american too.

Who says I have "pro-war" views or that I feel the average working person does? 😕 Do you simply create your own arguments out of thin air?

Always with the (off-base) personal accusations. What's the phrase that get's thrown around here? "Duhvert, duhvert, duhvert." Can you simply not deal with differing opinions or directly address dissidence? The mere notion that you associate "hanging out" with discussing issues in an online forum speaks volumes for your own social skills, but that's a personal issue and one not worthy of discussion.

Do you have anything relevant to add to this sub-topic of media sensationalism and it's agenda?

edit: And in the spirit of continually re-editing one's own threads to pile on nonsensical and utterly irrelevant talking points:

Wake up!

Don't you people see that Charmin Ultra-Soft tissue is what the people want!

Brawny is dead! Viva le Mexico!

Vanilla apologists will rue the day when the tables are turned and the neopolitans paint the streets pink, white, and brown!

The winds of change are a blowing!

What can brown do for you?

It's called having some identity and style, I am sure you try to have some class also, like when you dump the pisscup next to your computer monthly TLC.

You're always entertaining in your ASSumptions.

FYI, I went through my punk phase back in the 70s, before it became a tired old cliche. Unlike some though, I grew out of it.

In a way, very similar to a self-professed, wiser old man who can't let his youth go, so puts others down instead, eh? 😉

Getting back to the OP, the poll is as accurate as it can be given the situation. Certainly, large areas of Anbar province is off limits, not because the poluce of the rgion are in rebellion necessarily, but it is the main area where foreign terrorist are operating.

The links below are good sources of informaiton on what is happening in Iraq. Neoither source sugar coats the problems. Both tell it like it is, not as Bush or the leftist wish it to be.

Iraq will be a succes and sooner than later. Iraq stood up its first full Army division recently with the second following soon. Iraq will solve its own problems. The US will get out as soon as possible once Iraq has a handle on its insurgency.

Rest assured, Iraqis will not treat the forreigners well at all. Iraq will have its constitution. Remember, our constitution had to have 10 amendments tackedon beofre it became acceptable.

You mean you felt put down by your image? I wonder how that could be.

How could you wonder? You profess to know me and everyone else. Now, self-admittedly, you don't.

::sigh::

Well, another goofy claim goes right down the drain, which so many already knew was purely elitist, man-in-the-moon jibber-jabber anyway. Thanks for verifying it publicly.

Oh I know, but I was wondering if you did. The answer is that your image was insulting because you don't like who you are.

You gotta love it. A poll? When the media can't go anywhere without an armed escort? What do you think they did? A telephone poll?
Lets wait and see what happens in the election. Hopefully the poll is somewhat indicative of the Iraqis mood and things will get better after the referendum.
Sadly we have been told so many milestones would bring order and stability and each one passed with more violence and division.

It wasn't the media that did the poll.

Salvaging bad jibber-jabber with more bad jibber-jabber doesn't do a thing for you, Moonie. And please stop assuming that because you hate yourself that everyone else must feel the same way. The lame attempt at transference just doesn't work. Not to mention that it's a very poor generalization.

Ah, so you are in the habit of sending good money after bad. Now that's what I call transference. You may be a one-eyed Jack, Dad, but I seen the other side of your face.

How about, regarding those that see positives and negatives in Iraq:

Both realities are true. The rights that all humans long for are inalienable and adhere to the human soul, but fear and horror twist that soul. But that soul is twisted both for the affirmers and the deniers. It is why God loves the peace makers and reconciles. Violence in the struggle for freedom becomes the violence that oppresses and the violence that oppresses becomes the violent will to be free. This is the wheel of karma, the endless war. All evil goes by the name of Good. There is only one war and that is the war with the violence in oneself. To be unconscious of one's own violence is to be violent, but of course in the name of Good. War is permanent because it is never fought against the real enemy, the ignorance of self.

Do you honestly believe that normal, everyday people are gnashing their teeth at each other over the war in Iraq, abortion, stem-cell research, Terry Shivo, etc? Of course not. They all may have their own opinions, but those opinions are certainly not "tearing the nation apart" along the red vs blue state borders, or anywhere else besides in the minds and scripts of the evening news broadcasters.

.

Actually, if you climbed out of your basement and talked to real people that is exactly what people are talking about. Ride the subway...people are talking about bush's idiotic war...
At work people waiting in line...yep talking about the idiocy of bush.
Wherever I go black and white people are fed up, I just disscussed revoloution with a old lady at a cafe yesterday...please man. wake up, get out sometime.

The people are fed up, and it is you and a sheltered few who dont have the courage to stand up yet. Don't believe everything you see on tv.
It's odd how many random people are actually getting together and agree about something when it comes to bush, everyone is fed up...regardless of class race music etc.

bush is a uniter it seems...in americans frustration for him.

You may make some real friends if you gave up this lame apologism to some greedy old buisnessmen becasue I am sure noone wants to hang out with a young man with a lame outlook of some old redneck. What do you have in common with fellow youth?

You may want to join up...you may find some whackjobs there to fluff bush with you before you get killed for said greedy individuals.

becasue you sure arent impressing anyone here. (well maybe besides some greedy white buisnessman millionaire on tv laughing at you all the way to the bank)

Yeah, and I love listening to the monday morning quarterbacks...We coulda,shouda,woulda....blah blah

Fact is Like him or hate him Bush has made a lot of tough decisions and some were probably even wrong or mistakes but thats what happens when you make tough calls based upon what you feel is right or wrong....

If the democrats were in power we would still be holding our fingers in the air to see which way the wind blows....Oh dear would we upset the French....Lets just make those terrorists have a timeout so they can calm down and discuss things reasonably...We can't profile arab men coming into this country, what would the world think...😕

I love seeing the peacful buildup of Hamas even as the last Isreali tank pulled out of Gaza...that will become a breeding/training ground for terrorists and the best thing to come out of it may be it would put them all within easy reach of the Isreali army I guarantee you the Palestine Authority will not control them
