Poll: Should we outlaw Driving while talking on a cell phone??

Yes, we probably should. What always amazes me is how people in Europe can drive stick cars and talk on the phone at the same time (I've tried it in my car--impossible for me except on highway) yet here people can't talk on the phone and drive an automatic. Pretty sad state of US drivers. . . .

It should be banned. Just had some stupid woman on her cell phone in an SUV cross the center line into my lane today. Only about 60 ft. from my car. Scared the crap out of me.

Your phone should have technology in it to detect whether you are calling from a moving vehicle, and if you are it limits your conversation to 10 min.
But his would discriminate against those not driving, and people trying to get stuff done over the phone for the office.

of course they should make a law against it! talking on phones while driving puts peoples lives in danger!

come to think of it, driving an automobile puts peoples lives in danger! we should ban all personal automobiles! only rigorously trained professional drivers driving government owned busses and limousines(gotta put in limos to appease the rich folk) should be allowed on the public roads! think of all the children's lives that would be saved! and there should be camera's video taping everything everywhere so crime would be reduced to near zero! save the lives!

I have even seen bus drivers talking on a cell while transporting 40 children to school...
Like cmon ...
