POLL: should theaters be open on Christmas day?

I just saw that the new Ali film with Will Smith will open Christmas day. For me that is the last place i want to be on Xmas.

Oddly enough that is probably the exact line used my most employees of movie theaters.

I saw Patch Adams on Christmas Day. Mind you, I don't really celebrate Christmas, so it was just a Wednesday to me.

Watching Patch Adams, probably the only way known to man to make a Wednesday worse.

if they celebrate they will most likely be home for the holidays and those that are working would be most likely those that don't celebrate or need the extra money

Everything should be open on Christmas... they don't close anything for Hannukah or Ramadan do they? I think I went bowling last Christmas.

Going to the theaters is a Christmas ritual of ours! Usually 20 of us end up going... it's a lot of fun.

eh, i celebrate christmas with dinners and stuff, but there ain't much to do during the day. i think it's a good thing.
