Should Russia be admitted back into the G7

  • Total voters

The top 11 countries by GDP are US, China, Japan, Germany, UK, India, France, Italy, Brazil, Canada, South Korea.

Russia is number 12.

The current G7 countries are US, Japan, Germany, UK, Italy, France, Canada.

So at least India, China, South Korea, and Brazil should be allowed before Russia on the basis of world economic impact.

Yeah but Putin is Trump's and Moscow Mitch's very good business partner. Those others need to stuff Trump's and Moscow Mitch's pockets full'a cash more than Putin does before these two crooks will even take a look at them.

Bottom line: Traitorous Trump and Moscow Mitch have slapped "for sale signs" on their foreheads, got bought off/co-opted by the Russians (years ago for Trump) so that puts Puti at the front of the line for joining the club.

I'm really curious, we have 3 people @UglyCasanova, @khon, @Oric have votes "yes" for allowing Russia back in the G7.

Why do you think they are incapable of supporting their vote?
UC is always talking with two tounges so who the hell knows... I think Oric is turkish and Erdogan is playing nice with Putin right now. (Putin loves these small wannabe dictators, he can control them)... Kohn I dont have a feel for.

New World order is forming, you can not keep Russia out. Nothing to do with their relationship with Erdogan

When Russia fucks up, ie. novi choks around, takes crimea, cybers poland, proxy wars in Ukraine, cybers US, so on and so forth, the IC punishes Russia with exclusion. That is how it works. To let them back in would be to admit defeat to the authoritarian model. I dont know if you have fair elections where you come from, but the rest of us kind of like it.

-This is the right answer. The Gx summits represent the most industrially advanced nation's ensuring they are all on the same page to ensure global economic stability.

Russia is already on the UN security council to ensure a nuclear power with ICBMs has a voice in global politics.

So your answer is since we can't keep them out just let them back in. You realize is is a decision of the existing G members. At least you answered the question although I would consider what example this would set.

BTW - The abject display of cowardice by @UglyCasanova and @khon is noteworthy

Russia wants a level playing field..........of which they planted full of mines and of which they alone have the map indicating where each one was placed.

Let the dancing through the daisy cutter field commence. They've already got Trump standing on a tripped one just waiting for him to take his foot off of it. In the meantime, he and the nation Trump now leads is all theirs to fvck with over and over again.

Pathetic.

Yes we have free elections and over 83% of the population votes on the day (compared to 62% in US, so much more active participation in democracy) and the ruling party (Erdogan) has lost the recent local elections with a humiliating defeat. What was your point ?

I dont think my point was related to whether you have free elections or not, read my post again, it was pertaining to why Russia should not be let into the G7. Russia is the school yard bully, after stealing your lunch money you invite him into dinner? Dont think so.
Also, I think that history will show that cozying up to Russia will do wonders for your democracy.
