POLL: Should I go to work tomorrow..

Went to work today, its kind of a laid back place and I didn't know how late I was staying today so I asked my boss, he said "why, do you have other plans for today?" I replied that I needed to go to Terre Haute to get some Christmas gifts for my family and he said go ahead. I asked him what days he wanted me to work this week and he said "I dunno, call when you get a chance and we'll figure it out." So either I'm getting fired or my boss is in a good mood this Christmas, I'm thinking the latter because he's told me that he's relying on me to keep everything in order as far as the custom embroidery and screen printing goes (I work at a custom tshirt and embroidery place). So, I really would like to have the week off because we're not going to be open Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. What should I do?

If he wants you to keep the place going during christmas, go to work, but then take some days off around new years

He's got one of the other people who wants a little overtime working tomorrow and wednesday and we're not really all that backed up for Christmas Can't take off much after new years, my boss was elected mayor and takes office the day after new years =/ So I figure he can't really fire me because I'm the only one who knows how to do the custom embroidery and most of what needs to be done before Christmas is screen printing it'd be alright if I took a few days off before Christmas
