Are you getting it for the Ipod?

I'm just wondering because when I was looking around for a notebook computer, I looked at Apple because of the education discount and the rebate for when you get a laptop and an Ipod. I think they used to have a $300 MIR when you got both.

i'm not getting for the ipod per se but i would like an ipod so if i get the powerbook i wouldnt pass up the 10 gb ipod for $100 AR. i think the deal changed. no there is only a 200 MIR for the ipod but another $100 MIR for a printer

If you need (or can otherwise justify the expense) a laptop, and like the Powerbook, then by all means get it. I think you'd enjoy using it.

That's a pretty split poll. I'd say go for it. The 1 button mouse would be a PITA to me though and since it's not a desktop you can't just change out the mouse. Oh well.....

well as long as you got a flat surface I guess. I got wireless lan tho so I take my laptop all around the house with me. When I actually do sit down with it, it's on the couch in front of the TV. So an external mouse wouldn't work very well for me.
