I saw One hour Photo the other day and god he plays a terrible bad guy... It's almost as bad as him as the bad guy on Insomnia.

I guess I still picture him as Mrs. Doubtfire or Mork (Mork and Mindy, kids :D )

What do you guys think? Is he better as a good guy, as a bad guy, or do you just not like him at all?

Good guy... he's really disturbing as a bad guy. I couldn't even watch the entire One Hour Photo because of it (got just too creepy). He was a bad guy in Insomnia as well, but he wasn't as creepy.

He is far better as a bad guy. Not even a contest.

Come on. Robin Williams is awesome! Although my favorite movie of his had nothing to do with comedy... What Dreams May Come.

he is a great bad guy imo. i base this all having watched only death to smoochy (that is, movies where he is a bad guy)

i'm tired of seeing him as the good guy, i find the creepy wierdo roles to be refreshing.

robin williams makes an awesome bad guy. the way he presents him self just sends chills down my spine. very creepy when he wants to be.

Robin Williams used to be funny, now he is just down right NASTY. Same with Steve Martin. Why did all the good ole' funny guys have to go perverse?

Um, they're just movie roles. Maybe they got sick of doing the same role after role, so they wanted to try something different.

I think Robin Williams is a great actor. I prefer him as a good guy...but I think he does do a good job as a bad guy as well.

One Hour Photo was good, definitely a higher quality flick in the psychological dept. but I liked Insomnia even better. Also check out that clown movie he made, its not half bad.
