Freeing people is what we do? I don't see why we started with Iraq if that was the reason for this war.

You're also not a politician involved in the American government. Everything you know is told to you by a source that isn't always truthful, the media. You don't know what is planned, or why it is planned. Note, I also said that I was sure that the politicians had alterior motives, I know this country isn't driven on the goodness of people's hearts. However, my friend faught for Iraq's freedom, that was his only motivation, the freedom of a people. If he believed enough in it to die for it, then I damn well believe in it too. We didn't have to get involved in WWI, but we did, we helped out the European continent. We didn't have to get involved in the Europeans campaign in WWII, but we did, we helped them out again. There are alot of things we don't have to do, but we do anyway, and most of the time it isn't up for the greater good.
