Its ok... I guess i just look for different feature sets in my computers. My next will be a dulie 1gb ram SCSI RAID 5 twin 19in flat pannel. Type thing, but hey I probally do differnt stuff than you do so hey to each his own.

any links to a 9700 for less than $300 would be madly apreciated. I am going to have a single monitor on this computer and NewEgg has the all-in-wonder. i woulndn't think that it would have hindered performance but i really don't need the inputs.

I don't have the exact #'s handy, but I know that the 9800 is 10-15% faster than the 9700 under some conditions. It's not a lot faster, but if you can get it for cheaper why not?

7/10. Replace that Barton 2500 with 2 Barton MP 2800s and the DFI NFII with an MSI K7D Master-L and you'll get 9/10. Go with Xeons or Opterons and get 10/10. :D

I just glanced at Techspot.com's pricegrabber section. I saw Radeon 9800 - $269 and thought WTF? Lucky for you ;).

Save some money by ditching the stupidly overpriced MB and Ram and upgrade your video card. What are you using for HD's?

did you even see the budget? that computer would cost 1200.

due to budget i am using two WD120 special additions in raid 1.5. when i have the money i will move these to my file server and get some SATAs
