Are we talking about real rock? You know...the stuff made pre 1980....or are we talking modern Creed like garbage?

Rap sucks. There used to be a time when rap/hip-hop/r&b was good (a long time ago), but now it's all the same exact thing over and over. I particularly don't appreciate today's rap because of its constant promotion of excess...though alot of that goes around with some of the new rock groups as well.

No matter what anyone says, as far as it goes musically, rock is better. They're not called rap musicians, they're called rap artists. Hence rap must be art, not music. None of them can play guitar, drums, bass, and sadly most of them can't even sing.

While I can find some R&B/rap that I enjoy, it's so little that it's really insignificant. I find that the people who like rock are either older or more mature, while the people who find rap are insecure or immature.

soem rap is good, i like mos def, atmosphere, and jurassic five just to name some. I won't listen to a rap station, but i will listen to good rap. Not all rock is good, as mentioned : creed. *shivers*, also the dime a dozen emo punk bands who are upset but don't really know why really irks me as well.
