Poll: Radiohead - Kid A

Is it just me or is this CD freaking spectacular? I do a lot of work on the computer and I always have music playing, and for the past couple of months it's been this CD 90% of the time. It's so good, I just can't put it into words. I'll admit 1 or 2 songs suck [Tree Fingers] but I gotta say the rest of the CD is amazing. It's just so catchy and moving...I dunno, good sht i say.

I like OK Computer better, actually. Kid A has some cool tunes, but I think OK Computer is all over the map and a little more intense.

This cd seemed to be mostly Thomas York being an artist, so to speak and showing people what he could do all by his lonesome. Compared to OK Computer and The Bends, the music is much simpler, but definitely not worse.

You should check out some of the Radiohead fan sites like Green Plastic.com.

All of Kid A is great. But it is great in a more atmospheric way. It is music to trip on shrooms to. OK Computer was emotionally wrenching. It's music to listen to when you feel like jumping off a bridge.

I have the DVD Meeting People is Easy. At one point, they are showing a piece of the No Surprises video on a Brit talk show. One of the people watching the videos commented that it was "music to slit your wrists to".

From what I've heard of them, everything Radiohead has done has been really great. But, your choice of words is funny, yobarman, because my friend said the exact same thing a few days ago.🙂

No offense, but I wasn't impressed by Radiohead. The first time I listened to it was at night and I almost fell asleep. Then we listened to it at work today, and it failed to impress me again. I have to admit that there were a couple of cool songs on it.
