I hate spelling quizzes. They used to make me do theses quizes back when I were in school. I suppose since the majority of peoples got these write that there spelling is real good, but I'm know teacher.

And ATOT is a relatively very intelligent crowd (I'm not saying there aren't intelligent people out there who are bad spellers, but I think there's definitely a correlation). I'm betting you'd see no answer getting more than about 50% on many boards. And yeah, they were easy

Easy or not, at least half the people in ATOT are completely incompetant when it comes to spelling and would get at least one of those wrong. It's amazing how people function when they can't even use "too" correctly.

I know many think it's tedious and unnecessary for message boards, but I don't see how, in today's world, you can get anywhere without BASIC grammar skills. Nobody cares if you can type 80 wpm if you get "your" and "you're;" "too" and "to;" and "they're," "their," and "there" mixed up.

At least very few people here do the whole "y ur 2 u 4 ne1 iz plz" thing. That would drive me bonkers... I notice when people get your/you're and such wrong, but it doesn't bother me much.

You made it too easy by using the words all in one sentence. And yet some idiots still got them wrong. You've proven that the people who claim they know how to spell but are "too lazy" to be bothered with it really are that stupid.

PSA: prolly is not a word nor is it an acceptable way to abbreviate "probably." Using it makes you look like a teenager, or stupid, or both.
