I was sitting in a BK eating lunch one day, right next to the window facing the parking lot. Some stupid soccer mom thought it was OK to change her baby's sh!tty diaper RIGHT THERE in the lot, in full view 30 feet from where people were eating. :disgust: Nevermind the fact that the bathroom in the restaurant had changing tables in it, she just pulled down the tailgate of her Explorer and did it right there instead. There's nothing quite like trying to eat and getting a full view of sh!t smeared all over a baby's ass and smushed into his diaper as well. I kind of lost my appetite after that.

I say NO, unless there are absolutely no other options.

well considering its full of piss and poop i would hope they go to the bathroom. Also nearly every bathroom i see has the changing table in it.

man, some stupid woman was changing her baby at a restaurant, on the table. She was part of a very large party. Must've been at least 60-70 people in the room.

nasty!

Not that I claim them to be in the same category, because I'd hope that no one does. Still, I see this all the time, whether it's on a bench at the mall or on a short bus ride.

Either way, I was wondering how many people actually support this act. Got any bad stories to share?

You ride the short bus?

Sometimes you gotta improvise when you're a parent and you might not have a suitable place to change a diaper. Still, I wouldn't do it in a restaurant.

Can't leave a baby sitting in a dirty diaper.

very true.

sometimes you gotta change it where you are. most people understand. If we are out at a resturant we take her to the bathroom. they usually ahve a changing table.

If it does not then we will change her at the table (we are usually in a booth anyway) and try to do it as discretly as possible. but we only had to do that once.

Also, you'd be surprised how many restaurants don't have changing tables in their bathrooms. If there is no changing table there is no way I'm changing a diaper in some filthy bathroom. In those situatons you have to use a park bench or whatever is available.

I never had a problem finding a place with my son. If we were at a park or somewhere with no other place to change him we'd do it in the car while either his mom or I stood behind the other to block the view....more for the sakes of the people who might walk by.

what I hate more than anything is the people who change in parking lots and such like that who leave the dirty diaper on the ground! That's f'ing disgusting. I almost ran over one once, didn't realize it was even there, then almost stepped on it when I got out of the truck. Fvckers!

I once saw two couples having a dirty diaper fight in the middle of a Target parking lot.

True story.

Definitely not acceptable unless there is nowhere else to do it at. Mostly because it's unsanitary.

The bus ride is a tough call. Personally, I think I'd hop off and use a store's restroom.

I am amazed how often I see this. I can't understand the thought process involved.

No kidding, how anyone could leave a dirty diaper in the middle of a parking lot is beyond me. I used to have some spare plastic grocery bags for dirty diapers. Tie them up and throw them in the trash.

Oh yeah, I forgot...Europeans are born knowing how to use the toilet.
