[POLL] - Professional Athletes Allowed to Participate in Olympics?

Link

I think it's unfair to amateur athletes that professional athletes get all the money and fame. We all know amature athletes can never play for money, then they should get all the chances they can get the fame and glory instead. What do you think?

alot of those 'amateur' athletes are probably getting alot of sponsor money and are well supported. Do you think Michael Phelps or Maurice Green are going hungry and barely making ends meet when he was winning those medals?

nice poll. I'd be for only amateur athletes competing...as long as that is for ALL countries.

I agree. that is part of the problem.

many countries train them from an age of like 4 and that is all they work toward. I'm not sure i would say they are armature.

It's the Olympics people!!! It suppose to showcase the best athletes from each country. If it were just amateurs... it would not be as exciting.

amateurs only.

Must be natural citizens of representative country.

Like it SHOULD be.

-edit- the money taints it. especially us.
