It's funny how people call tennis, baseball, hockey, etc. boring... Those are, by far, the most dramatic sports.

There's nothing more intense than a Game 7 of the World Series/Stanley Cup or a 5-set marathon Grand Slam match.

I used to bash tennis. Then I started playing it in the summer, and realized it was pretty physically demanding.

tennis is fun! great exercise too.. this was my first sport, i took lessons when i was like 7 years old... the pros hit the ball pretty hard, even the girls.

It's fun. I dont' watch a lot of it on TV, very rare for me to do so. I am not very good at tennis, but I enjoy a game here and there. I don't see what it would not be respected.

Yea try hitting back a ball that's coming at you at 130MPH and strategically place it, under control, when your opponent is winning with just one more point to go. I've been playing that game since I was a little ah heck competitively trying to become pro. It takes quite a man not just to play the sport, but to be a good sport and to be a gentleman at the same time. Ethics is a huge part of the game much like golf.
