It depends on whether or not the company you work for has treated you with dignity and fairness.I would be sure and make notes of the serial #s of the machines it's installed on, then keep those notes in a safe place at home.

If your company decides to lay you off (fire you) I would casually bring up the fact that you know all about the illegal software installed on the company computers.

It can't hurt to apply a little equalization.Kinda like the guy in "American Beauty".

well if they are decent people and working hard, just what would be the point of reporting them? i mean come on, there are people who do things much worse without a reason...

i would birng it up in a nice way though that a business should have all its software according to licensing just to avoid trouble :)

Why would I report it? I'm not the police for the software industry. Would you people who would report them also turns in your mp3 trading friends to the riaa?

In the case of my last job:

We had legit copies of photoshop 5.5, then 6 came out and we &quot;upgraded&quot; in a non legal fashion. But the boss had absolutely no idea.
