EDIT: Poll Shows that 75% of all polled do not use AOL. That means with all of the AOL bashing going on you people have probably offened 25% of people that frequent ATOT. I'm not a fan of AOL myself but I don't make a idiot of myself trying to force my opinion.

There now it's all said and done.

Yes. Actually. When I am over at my mom's house. Thats the only internet access they have. Only during emergencies. I hate it, but its not really much worse than any other Dialup, IMO.

Well there are other ways to get on AOL. You can &quot;Bring Your Own Access&quot; ($9.95) via another ISP's DSL or cable. Or you can subscribe to AOL's DSL service.

Dialup = Reality for the vast majority of internet users.
Dialup = Available everywhere
Dialup = Reliable backup connection

Dialup is going to be around for a while.

Since AOL owns Time Warner, it already does have cable internet access called Road Runner.
