POLL: political affiliation / scary movies

Some people like scary movies, some don't.
I'm wondering if the ratio differs by political affiliation.
Vote!

You should add a couple more ideologies in there than the standard two old Repubs and Dems. How about Moderate or Independent, Libertarian, Green?

i need some examples of "Scary movies" before i vote

The Shining
Psycho
The Thing
Dracula
Halloween
Rosemary's baby
Nightmare on Elm Street

I'd even stretch as far as movies like Seven and The Hand that Rocks the Cradle

This poll sucks...what's the reasoning behind the correlation?
I've noticed that in political discussions with people -- that republicans seem fear driven.
So much so, that I'd even say they LIKE to be scared.
So, it stands to (my) reason -- that republicans would like scary movies more than others.
As of this posting, it seems somewhat true:
Repubs: 5 like, 1 dislike
Dems: 7 like, 5 dislike
other: 3 like, 4 dislike

You should add don't cares. I watch scary movies time to time depending on the title but I have no preference to scary movies.

haha 10/6 10/6

this isn't showing much other than the fact that those who are "neither" are more likely to not like scary movies.

My wife's fairly liberal, and likes scary movies (except Audition, she freaks out if I even mention that title). I'm more moderate, but with fiscal conservative leanings, and I also like 'scary' movies.

did you know that in the summer, more people eat ice cream than in the winter.

Also, in the summer, fewer people catch colds than in the winter.

Eat more ice cream = catch less colds.

The reasoning is about as sound as this poll.

Audition rocks!
That being said, I liked Gozu even better, it was just so weird and yet so enticing, I couldn't help but watch it.

Huh... very unexpected results....

as of this post:
14 - 7 repubs
15 - 7 dems
* 7 - 10 * neither

About even between the repubs and dems -- so not the relationship i was thinking.
But it appears that the politically non-mainstream are scaredy-cats.
