I've heard Upper Crust is the krispy kreme of pizza places, although I've never been there. It's not a huge chain but it is national

Everyone I talk to says that the only real pizza good italian pizza is in the Northeast (NY, NJ, CT, PA, MA, MD, DE). If that's true i feel so sorry for all of you that live west where there is no real pizza and all you have are these pathetic chains. Pizza Hut is my favorite of those in your poll, but it's nothing even close to a good pie from an italian pizzeria.

a couple italian guys run a place here, best pizza in town. i usually prefer to make my own, or go there, but occassionally the wife talks me into dominos...which for some reason she counts as superior.

the pizza hut here is awful, pizza inn isnt much better, and i still dont like the sauce at papa johns

we have new york style pizza in houston. damn good.

best of the chains is papa johns.

papa murphy's i won't count as a pizza chain, since they don't cook the damn pizza and the oven used has a lot to do with how the pizza turns out. a real ny pizza oven is so much better than a conveyer belt or a home oven it is ridiculous. plus, i can get take n' bake type pizza at the grocery store.

Papa John's is also my favorite, but if I'm good and drunk, and it's late, then I go to Gumby's Pizza, it's open till 3...🙂

ps I love pizza after the bars

pizza hut cinnamon sticks... mmmmm
workin late tonight and my gf called and said she's too tired to cook... PH soundin really good.

I've really only eaten at Pizza Hut out of those five, because here in the Fresno area and around the Central Valley (and now trickling into Southern California) there are plenty of these places called Me 'N Eds (two in my town of 20,000 alone, compared to one Pizza Hut). They're much better, so I hardly eat at Pizza Hut. I didn't vote.
