Well, I got a WD 160GB Drive for $118 at Sams. Not a bad deal, I suppose.

Thanks for the input, everyone.

Look at the benchmarks again:
http://storagereview.com/php/benchmark/compare_rtg_2001.php?typeID=10&testbedID=3&osID=4&raidconfigID=1&numDrives=1&devID_0=254&devID_1=213&devCnt=2

The 73GB Cheetah X15-3 dominates the server benchmarks, and the 74GB Raptor dominates the desktop/workstation/games benchmarks.

Sams/Wal-Mart is the downfall of western civilization. Why pay $118 + tax when you could've gotten it online for $95, free shipping, no tax? Or you could've gotten the Special Edition 160GB with a 3-year warranty delivered for $104.

I bought it locally because I can't change my bank address just yet. If I can't change that, I can't ship to where I am.

I'm going to hold out on SATA as long as possible, kind of like ATX and LCDs.

I don't like being on the cutting edge. ;)
