Neither! Compgeeks.com has Dell PDAs at extremely sweet deals! ~$150 for 300mhz and $200 for 400mhz. And there's a 10% coupon available if you look through some PDA sites. The Dells have some extreme battery life and have CF slots so you can easily add wifi, cameras, etc. A good price doesn't hurt either ;) Wifi cards go for only ~$30. The T | C is an overpriced Palm, and the 5455 costs a lot too; it's also quite slow by subjective tests according to some people.

I picked Palm Tungsten C because I like Palm's OS better (been using Palm since Palm IIIxe).

Why not go for a cheaper Sony? Some sony's play mp3's, videos, have memory stick slots, etc., and only cost about $150 on eBay

Sorry, but I'll have to disagree.

While the Axim is an excellent unit, I prefer the much smaller iPAQ 1910 for $250. Yes, it's a bit less powered (200mhz vs 300mhz, if you don't overclock), and has a little less memory (48mb vs 64mb)... But that is easily acceptable because of its size.

I carry this thing everywhere I go... It fits in my shirt pocket, coat pocket, etc with ease.

I used to have a 3635, and was going to upgrade to the Axim. But then I used the 1910, and finally saw the Axim as the brick* that it is.

They have carried them in the past... But apparently "extremely sweet deals" is another description of "refurbished." ;)
