What's the best file-sharing software on the Net? Morpheus? KaZaA? No way. On today's show, Roger demonstrates why the new WinMX 3.1 will help you forget Napster ever existed.
The recording industry is putting enormous legal pressure on peer-to-peer devolopers. But WinMX is not backing down. A new version is now available with an improved interface and download speeds.

Here are a few ways WinMX destroys the competition.

Get what you want

Share and download any file type -- music, video, text, programs -- you name it.
A ton of search options let you find exactly what you're looking for. Even search for similar files when you find something you like.
The improved queuing system will let you know how many users are in line ahead of you for any particular file.
An auto-complete feature attempts to finish incomplete downloads in your shared folder.

Faster downloads

Download the same file from multiple sources. You'll get blazing fast download speeds.
Take complete control of your bandwidth. You'll be able to limit the number of uploads and downloads, limit bandwidth for uploads, and assign bandwidth priority for files you really want.

Best of all, WinMX has no spyware! So stop wasting time with those other P2P programs. WinMX's improved interface, faster download speeds, and advanced user controls will fulfill all your file swapping needs.

Don't people realize how easy it is to remove the spyware from kazaa? It takes only a few minutes and only has to be done once. I don't even see why it's an issue.

My favorite is edonkey, but currently I'm playing around with Direct Connect (people are sharing different stuff, so I'm expanding my collection). I like the fact that edonkey is more automated, whereas Direct Connect is a somewhat improved Hotline (yuck!).
