I am doing a survey for my public speaking class.

I am curious, how many of you have had an organ transplant? If so, what organ did you receive?

Would you donate your organs when you die?

i will have no use for my organs when i die, hopefully somebody else will and i can somehow help them live longer/better

fyi, just in case, you should make sure you talk to your next of kin and let them know you want to donate organs if something happens to you. They have final say, not the sticker on the driver's license.

i don't know why but i feel weird saying that i want people to take my organs out when i die. maybe i'll put the sticker on later or something. i'd just feel strangely violated. maybe if they went to save a family member or something.

I am all for giving my organs, and research in clones and stem cell. However, the only way they are going to get my organs is to get em before they burn me!

of course, full organ donor here. Could let my organs rot in a hole or make someone else's life happier by giving them away when I no longer need them.

NO WAY! I have heard the horror stories of doctors giving up prematurely or pulling the plug early, just so they could rush the patients organs to someone else. I don't want to some jumpy doctor start guttin me too early. I applaud the people who are donors, but I won't ever be one of them.
