Points for hero versus hero debate:

Number5 had a shoulder-mounted laser which he later abandoned in favor of nonlethal utility pack. Robocop has that wicked automatic pistol in his leg and later upgraded to a more destructive cannon arm.

Number5 can crush ice. Robocop cannot.

Number5 has cool metal flap eyebrows/lids. Robocop has a red univisor.

Number5 earned his citizenship. Robocop began as a police officer.

Number5 has three-wheeled triangular treads. Robocop walks slowly and loudly.

Number5 can be repaired with equipment found in an ordinary Radio Shack. Robocop requires expensive government equipment and a big power drill.

Number5 is not bullet proof. Robocop sparks when shot.

yeah... i never did get that about robocop (such a turtle!). i'm surprised he wasn't crushed by a steamroller or something cuz it'd take him ages to get out of the vehicle's path!
