Poll: NFL2K1 or Madden 2001?

Which game do you prefer? I vote for too close to call, Madden has more realistic player models, more realistic gameplay, and better/more plays, but NFL2K1 has better animations, better player-to-ball relationship, and online play is great.

Madden - the animation is so much smoother and realistic. The tackles are nowhere near Madden's (as far as realism goes). 2K1 has better flow though, IMO. But overall it's gotta be Madden, it's got the graphics, realism and gameplay to back it up

Haven't played NFL2K1, but Madden is awesome. I'll jsut say madden is better cuz I'm sure it's theme song is better

Madden, i think the gameplay is better, and poor gameplay annoys me after a while (just my opinion)

im a madden lover/obsessionist, but even i gotta throw it towards nf2k1, graphics are great, but gotta have gameplay, aka atari jaguar..graphics ya, game, no

Madden is better, this is a no brainer. NFL2k1 is wak IMHO.

You guys playing the PC version of Madden? I played '98 and the tcp/ip portion blew....always hanging or dropping players...lagg our the a$$...and couldn't edit and SAVE the playbook in too many ways...weak, but I always loved Madden single-player, though...They got these issues fixed in 2001? stable even on dial-ups?

NFL2K1.

madden 2001 is so slow and basic looking.
I figure though, after the playstation2 gets going, Madden 2002 will kick some royal ass.

But until then NFL2k1 all the way.
