Poll: Newegg vs Amazon

Personally, I think I would go with Amazon, because of free shipping and superb service, but I don't have too much experience.

Amazon is good for books, etc. But when I'm buying comp parts, etc, I usually go with newegg, but I do like to shop around to make sure I get the best deal, as I'm poor.

Another vote for whichever is cheaper.

Newegg's CS and support are legendary, but the only RMA experience I've had was with Amazon. They handled it easily, all the work was done over the Web, they 2nd day-aired the replacement to me, and sent a UPS driver to the house to pick up the return.

I've never ordered anything besides books and maybe music off Amazon, and have ordered only computer parts off Newegg. Both were cheap for what I ordered.

over all, I order more stuff from Amazon, but when it comes to computer parts, it's newegg all the way.

I don' thave much loyalty when it coems to computer parts if it's something relatively inexpensive. I'll just go wherever I can save a few bucks.

Consumer stuff Amazon, computer parts Newegg, but with the wild card of whoever's cheaper if both stock the item.

I do get a kick out of the counsumer stuff (like Zojirushi) that Newegg stocks (and their Zojirushi stuff is very competitively priced too)...
