he still exploring his creative direction. and i read your previous diatribe for sticking up for the band, welcome to an internet forum, where opinions are like...well, you know that old song and dance. it wasnt just wes also, i mentioned fred and his charisma helped push the band also, it was the dynamic duo of them. ill admit, ill stay put in three dolla billz or signifigant other into my cd player, but i simply wasnt impressed by this last album. perhaps i didnt give it a fair listen because outkast's cd currently dominates my cd player because that is probably the best cd ive heard this whole year and ::gasp:: is #1 this week on the billboard charts.Originally posted by: WoodchuckCharlie
Wes was the band? With him gone, the band lost it's gusto? If so, where the hell is Wes now? What the hell is his band's name again? Hmmmmm, sounds like Wes isn't the renaissance man you make him out to be.Originally posted by: anxi80
didnt like the new album. fred was the charisma of the band, but wes was the talent and the main attraction with his face paint-ups and antics. with him gone, the band lost its gusto. now they are just another band, and not even a great one in that aspect. wes got out just in time, and said he didnt like the band's direction.
edit: and yes, its already been mentioned, but the band is eat the day. he admits that the first album his band released was medicore, more of an experiment album.
