didnt like the new album. fred was the charisma of the band, but wes was the talent and the main attraction with his face paint-ups and antics. with him gone, the band lost its gusto. now they are just another band, and not even a great one in that aspect. wes got out just in time, and said he didnt like the band's direction.
Wes was the band? With him gone, the band lost it's gusto? If so, where the hell is Wes now? What the hell is his band's name again? Hmmmmm, sounds like Wes isn't the renaissance man you make him out to be.
he still exploring his creative direction. and i read your previous diatribe for sticking up for the band, welcome to an internet forum, where opinions are like...well, you know that old song and dance. it wasnt just wes also, i mentioned fred and his charisma helped push the band also, it was the dynamic duo of them. ill admit, ill stay put in three dolla billz or signifigant other into my cd player, but i simply wasnt impressed by this last album. perhaps i didnt give it a fair listen because outkast's cd currently dominates my cd player because that is probably the best cd ive heard this whole year and ::gasp:: is #1 this week on the billboard charts.

edit: and yes, its already been mentioned, but the band is eat the day. he admits that the first album his band released was medicore, more of an experiment album.

It's called Eat The Day. He also did the whole soundtrack for that Underworld movie. He's also done some side project things...with the Crystal Method and a few others.

I think you actually have to research anyone with talent instead of having MTV News do your thinking for you. Thats unless you're a big Nelly Fan? :D

I expected nothing less than a full-on flamefest in a LB thread on AT.

WoodchuckCharlie, don't worry much about debating with these people. Most of them like Coldplay and DMB.

I like the first half of the CD, the second half kinda blows. I think the cover of the Who song is pretty good except for that speak and say crap in the middle.

MTV definitely does not do my thinking for me. MTV is less and less about music as days pass. And Nelly DEFINITELY isn't up my alley as far as music goes. As far as you answering my question, I think you did a helluva job. I just get tired of people ragging on limpbizkit and Durst. They are one of my favorite bands of all time. I can't help it, it's just the kind of music I listen to. If there ever was a post about Nelly's new album or Timberlake or Britney or ICP or Dixie Chicks or Prince, do I take time out of my way to put that talent down in any way possible? No.

Yes, this is a public forum, and that is always your guy's excuse, (like Christians and their 'faith' excuse for believing in God), but damn, let up. It pisses me off to hear you guys think that your opinion is the correct one.

Ya, I hate the crap in the middle of the cover as well. Was that in the original song? I didn't even know that song was a cover till my gf said something about it being a 70s song or whatever.

The only excuse you have for not knowing about The Who and their excellent music is having been in a bubble, or dead for several years. Or being a 13-year-old. And suggesting that the stupid "Discover ... L-I-M-P" bit was in the original Who song is borderline blasphemy. :p

I hereby sentence you to go listen to Pinball Wizard, Behind Blue Eyes, and Won't Get Fooled Again. :D

Ohhhhhhhh. I see. Well, to be honest with you, I never really paid attention to what was even said in that middle part. Hence, me not liking that part :p. If I knew what was said, I would've never remotely suggested it was in the original song. I'm not that ignorant.

EDIT: And as for not knowing about the Who, I've heard of them, but honestly couldn't point out a song of their's in a lineup.

EDIT2: And for point of reference, I'm 22 :D.

The Fred Durst / Snoop single's on the radio. Dear lord that sucks. Fred, it's called variety. Had the potential... but jesus... Do you HAVE to end every phrase with "baby"?
