I, personally can't WAIT! After seeing the "preveiw" I am ALL hyped! What about you guys?

I could've sworn I read somewhere that Reznor is doing the music, like he did with Quake which is really cool.

From the movie, I don't see what the fuss is all about. Looked alright, nothing too special when you compare with Q3.
Aside from that, i'm sure it'll be nice eye candy with little content, much like Q2 and the multi only Q3. Perfect for other game makers to kinda pick up the slack.

That's game looks like a freaken' CGI it was that good. It's amazing but as far as engine work goes, ID raises the bar time and again.

Doom is the second game I was really addicted to (the 1st one was Wolfenstein 3D) so I expect a few more looooooooooooong sleepless nights when it comes out !

I loved the old original Doom, it was the first game I got really addicted to. Since then, the games have gotten better looking, but I don't think the gameplay itself has gotten that much better.... just more complicated.

Bring back Doooooooooom!

Is it at least going to be a game a single user can play, or is it going to be strictly team/multiplay like Q3 and UT? I dont' know about others, but as a dial up user that has little or no use to me.

 

I can't wait. I even loaded glDoom last night and went at it for about an hour. It's still a really good game.
