Only 42% voting yes? That doesn't seem right for these forums. Nail biting is supposed to be a sign of sexual frustration....

Yeah but quite a good number of us managed to quit... guess the girl advice on this forum is pretty good! 😀
 
The way I quit my nail biting was to leave one finger alone at a time, biting the others. Eventually I quit all together. But I do remember that they would get bloody around the nail all the time.
 
In answer to the 2nd question, the few female nailbiters I've known have all fallen into 1 of 2 categories:

a) fat/ugly girls OR
b) as much or even more of a perverted hornball than guys <- this category is generally tech geeks in fact!
