I bought one a while back for $6 and got ripped off. The game had like CD tracks, and that was it.

Amazon.com bundle deal: PS2 + extra controller + 3 games + DVD = $499.99 + shipping = $514.13.

It still hasn't arrived yet (target arrival date: Nov 13th 2000). There will be much rejoicing that day.

The bundles are usually rip-offs. Amazon's isn't that bad, but I just want the damn system

Yeah, the amazon bundle is a little high...but the walmart.com one was pretty good IMO. System with 3 games for 439 + 6 s/h...

Ya, most of the bundles are supposed to be like $10 less than regular price. But most PS2 bundles are like $10 HIGHER than regular price

I don't think he was talking in that respect, but I can't wait for the DC LAN adapter. And the PS2 comes with no modem of any kind. There is a 56k modem being developed for PS2; it will only be available in Japan though. So much for Sony's broadband dream.
