*POLL* Mrs. Tallgeese = MASTERMIND?

Oh...I can guarantee you that this is NOT about her wanting something in this price range.

I work for accountants, and some of them are FAMOUSLY tight with money.
Mrs. Tallgeese, however, could still teach even them a few things about pinching pennies until they drop nickels!

True story:
I found her secret stash of PREVIOUSLY USED ALUMINUM FOIL a few weeks ago!

Yep...that's right folks.
She washes off previously used aluminum foil, rolls it back flat with a rolling pin...and then STASHES IT SO I WON'T FIND IT.

Of course, when I asked her why she was hiding it...
She got kinda sheepish and said "I didn't want you to think I was nuts"
My reply: "Too late, sweetie"

BTW: Both of her grandmothers used to do this. As did mine. As do/did many folks who lived through the Great Depression.

Get a clue. Buy a widescreen HDTV for the nursery, then you won't have to wallpaper one wall with the hideous kids' wallpaper.

I think it's circuit city that has that commercial where the parents get the kid on his 1st birthday a big screen, it's pretty funny.

Poor poor Tallgeese....my heart goes out to you.

I do like Skoorb's idea though, of an accident happening to the large TV. Maybe once you moved the smaller one down, you could complain so much about your eyes and the headaches you get from straining to see it that she may just cave? I know if Skoorb complains enough, I usually give in because I would rather spend money to shut him up than listen to his constant whining! 😀

Nope, no wallpaper. Just paint.

In fact, my big project tomorrow is to FINISH painting the new nursery.

Out of sheer curiousity (cuz sig countdowns always intrigue me), is the birth of your new baby what your sig is counting down to?

DING DING DING!!!

You're the first person to inquire about the countdown!

1. Buy a baby einstein DVD.
2. Bring it home. "Man, this would be so much better for little tallgeese to see on a big screen..."
3. Buy Bigscreen TV
4. - Profit
5. Divorce
6. -(-(-(-(-(-Profit.) ) ) ) )*
7. Watch repeat of demo's on TV while working 3rd job @ Bestbuy to pay for 5 & 6.

😉

*& suffer knowing Miss Ex. Tallgeese is enjoying the big screen tv.
