<<MT is Micron Technology, Crucial is a div of MT (so now you should know how good is Crucial)>>

You certainly do not have to tell me something I already know.

How is Corsair not competitive? They're chosen by HardOCP as the hardest of year 2000.

I tried one Crucial PC-133/CL2. The performance was very disappointing. Never go back for a second trial.

The Mosel Vitelic, KingMax KTI and Infineon are all satisfactory for me. All ran stable at overclocking speeds. At $91 each. I will vote the Infineon PC-133/256MB to be the best buy now.

No, but there must be something special about them, or else Kyle wouldnt choose them.

Memory of the Year. This category is a bit more subjective, there is no doubt about it. We have been using Corsair SDRam all year long and have found it to be infallible. Corsair uses Micron chips, and in our opinion produces some of the most solid sticks of RAM on the planet. We had four 256 meg sticks in the Hard|Box running dual PIIIs 138MHz FSB at a CAS 2 with four-way interleaving set. Now, with that said, I have seen some other memory run faster. However, I have not seen any that offer the stability coupled with the solid performance that the Corsair has. Corsair is our Hardest memory of 2000.

This condition will not stress any name brand PC-133 memory. The Crucial, Mosel Vitelic, KingMax KTI and Infineon all run rock solid at 138 FSB/CL2. The Crucial became unstable when pushed above 142 MHz FSB, while the other held up well to 146 FSB at least. My experiences are for one to three samples of these RAM only.

I am not convenced by review sites who makes recommendation based on a small number of samples.

look for bonkers325's post for infineon ram. I bought some last night (at a special price) and it was 88.50 shipped, insured. I have only heard the best about infineon ram, in a few days I will know!!!

he randomly tested a bunch of dimms from that batch at pc150 cl=2, with no super turbo settings or anything

145mhz is fine for me and I am pretty sure my ram will do that no sweat.

go infineon or mosel from a seller here, much cheaper on the boards
