If you had to choose.... Which would ya have??

I chose money, cause im pretty sure i could buy some form of happiness if i had enough 🙂
 
i agree with you aphexII, i KNOW i can buy happiness. and besides that, no money is the cause of my unhappiness.

Exactly! When you're a poor student money seems important, but once you have enough to pay the rent and buy a few toys, you start thinking about happiness more. Unless you're a CEO type, then "greed is good" :disgust:

Happiness, of course. If you're happy, who needs money?

Unless money=happiness, which isn't necessarily the case.

I'd rather spend a day with my best friends (an extradonarty day) and go home to a box than have a million dollars but never get to see them again

ain't no such thing, lol armed with my favorite red handled screw driver,the ability to know when to press "enter" and a great big smile,I can get money, you can't buy the smile though and overall it's the smiling that makes life enjoyable 😀
 
I think if you choose money, you will never be happy, the same as if you choose happiness, you could never have money.

I'd choose happiness, because I know if I'm happy I can make money. 🙂
 
How much money are we talking about ? If it's like a billion, then I'm gonna have to agree with aphexII on being able to buy some form of happiness.

 
How much money are we talking about here? All the money you could ever need?
Conversely, how much happiness are you talking about? Would it be like a ridiculously extasy type happy, or just a notch or 2 above contentment?
Would they be mutually exclusive? i.e. If you chose money, would you never be happy and would you be broke forever if you chose happy?
 
Lets just say, alot (whatever that means to you)

For me, 50 million is alot, to each his own...
 
Happiness ALL THE WAY!

Albeit, if you don't have enough money to pay the bills, a moderate sized house & car, enough money to pay tuition for the kids (a luxury actually), and most importantly, retirement money then your happiness can get ground down.

Actually studies have shown certain cultures that are poor have a HIGH happy index. So it's a matter of perspective. In America, people are BRAINWASHED into feeling valid thru ACHIEVEMENT, otherwise on'es a loser..............this attitude is actually not shared by the rest of the world. When you travel around the world (like me), you realize people could care less about "Americans are #1 attitude." IN SO MANY regards, they are SOOO MUCH RICHER than us.
