I've lived all over the US. And the place with the most polite people was the Southeast (GA, SC and NC). In fact, I was a little shocked at how rude people in the midwest were compaired to the SE when I moved to the central IL area.

Of course, the rudest people were in the Northeast and Eastern Florida (since Florida is mainly Northeast transplants, that makes sense).

I cringe when I see a call coming in from a NJ, NY, or MA client. They are far more...brash than just about any other demographic of callers.
