If you had a choice, would you take a million dollars or the ability to learn and read really fast sort of like the movie Phenomenon with John Travolta but without actually dying in the end?

 
Travola in that movie have telekenisis and telepathy, that is worth WAY more than 1 or even 100 million dollars
 
I find it ironic that the OP doesn't seem to understand the definition of"knowledge". It's not the "ability to learn and read really fast".
 
What Beau said, plus there are many lottery winners who have proven that money + no knowledge = quickly broke.
 
I can already speed read and it hasn't made me all that much smarter than my peers. If I was omniscient though, that'd be interesting. I'd play the lottery to roll up some capital and then use my MASSIVE intellect for world domination and devalue the dollar and change the currency to some sort of future currency of which I had exclusive control....muahahahahaha
 
I would go for telekenisis. Then I could get whatever I wanted without moving. Like I could pick up a plate from afar 🙂

I'd take the cash. It'd require work to make bank off that knowledge, and sure you'd probably make loads more, but I'm fine with the life I have now. I'd probably bank 90% of the cash and leave it, anyway.
 
With "Phenonmenon" knowledge he could invent a better search engine than Google and become a billionaire 😉

Lets say you can pick up a book and learn a new language in hours, learn everythign you need to get a degree in week maybe you get several degrees.

Become an excellent hacker for the good of mankind and find all the flaws in Windows.

You could earn millions of dollars if done right, unless you go nuts and use all you know to destroy the world.

Why the hell would you find all the flaws in Windows?
Why not build a new OS from the ground up?
